<div class="content">The iPad just works like iPhone, it can read PDF document when you open it through your mail box. So you can send your ebooks through email and have them read on the iPad.

But to read ebooks on electronic device, I'll suggest to go for the Amazon Kindle instead, its screen is much suitable for reading. I've given a detailed comparison between the iPad and the Kindle, in a previous answer here. Guess you'll be interested:
